Who will be your mentor during the recruiting process?
Maria Bożek joined Career Angels in 2013. She has also worked as an Associate Consultant at Devonshire and has studied Management of Human Resources at the University of Economics in Cracow. In 2018 Maria completed post-graduate studies in Payroll. While also supporting our clients, Maria is our HR & Admin Manager which means that she recruits Mini & Career Angels (incl. testing), trains all new team members and ensures every Angel is on par with our quality standards. Maria also helps everyone to firstly get & feel connected to our remote, virtual team and then enable everyone to stay “plugged in”. Maria works in English and Polish.

Why us?
Lidia (in recruitment & HR since 2005): It was probably the most straightforward recruiting process I went through in my career, a series of tests through which CA could learn about me, but also I could learn about myself. The last step of the process was a call with one of the Career Angels who analyzed with me the results of the tests. This was probably the turning point in my life: I finally understood “me”. I am happy to have joined Career Angels and looking forward to making a difference in our client’s careers.
Ania (in recruitment & HR since 2017): I started collaborating with Career Angels in 2020. I have never taken part in such an onboarding process, which despite remote work, was very straightforward. What’s more, when I was going through the materials, I felt led – because of clear and intuitive checklists and instructions. Who will be your mentor during the recruiting process?
Marcelina Woroniak joined Career Angels in February 2019 while being a student of Classical Philology with Mediterranean specialization and Italian at the University of Lodz. Currently, she is studying Translation. She is responsible for preparing documents for clients and coordinates the Challenge Accepted Europe community by being the first point of contact for its members. She’s been a key member in our translation team of the Career View tool. Additionally, she recruits our junior team members and then onboards them during their training period. Marcelina works in Polish and English, she also speaks Italian.

Karolina (23): I do believe that working for Career Angels was one of the best things that happened to me. I appreciate the flexible working hours, trust and support. The most difficult thing for me so far was becoming a really proficient “laptop user”. It was worth it!
Justyna (22): Impossible becomes possible here. After the recruitment process, you join a team where all people from the other side of a laptop screen automatically become your friends and you get all the help you need to understand all the processes. Career Angels focus on development and you will feel it from day one. And personally for me, the most important is the freedom that you get here because you can work from anywhere in the world!
Kasia (22): Working with Career Angels is amazing – you learn new things every day, teammates are always willing to help or give feedback. The atmosphere here is great, there is no fussing or bragging, everyone is pretty much equal and treats others the same way. Working from home is a great advantage for me – I am an introvert and there are times I just do not want to make any social interactions, and with Career Angels I can stay at home and still earn money! The recruitment process and initial training were intensive, but they gave me a solid foundation for my everyday work.

The moment you decide to apply (i.e. when you click on the link to the application form) you’ll notice that we use an ATS called Element. We’ve been using this system since October 2021 and with its help we have already processed over 3000 applications.
“I like using “Element” because it really makes my job of recruiting people to our team easier. It does not, however, behave like typical ATS available on the market (and we have tried several of them): the Element ATS is fully customizable – I can design specific stages of the process with activities assigned to them (email or text message) independently, instead of sticking to a rigidly defined framework. I find it very helpful, because I believe that every role is different and requires a different approach. Additionally, I also really appreciate the application form; the multitude of options to choose from allows you to compose a very nice first stage of recruitment. The form contains an open questions option (including assessment, calendar, files) as well as a closed questions one (including multiple answers), and is automatically translated from Polish to English. Recruitment statistics, which are displayed on an ongoing basis, also come in handy. Not to mention the possibility of creating message templates or the processes themselves. I feel like I haven’t even fully explored all the options yet! I definitely recommend this tool!”.
